Tamara Casey, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Ms. Tamara Casey co-founded 4DK Technologies, Inc. in October 2005, and serves as Chief Executive Officer for the company. Tamara’s 24 year career in wireless has spanned executive level positions in network design and deployment, RF engineering, operations and technology development. Her expertise includes Push-to-Talk (iDEN, POC, QChat), Push-to-X, IMS, EVDO Rev. A, HSPDA/HSUPA, WiMAX, Flash O-FDM and WiFi, interoperability, client development, and IP networking. Known widely as a technology visionary, Tamara communicates clearly to both technical and non-technical crowds alike, therefore becoming a sought after asset for many strategic consulting roles. This combination of skills uniquely positions her to lead 4DK’s select R&D team to identify and deliver advanced technology products. When not travelling the length and breadth of the US to be with staff and/or clients, Tamara is based in Reno, NV.

Dave Martin, Director, Technology Development

Mr David Martin has 18+ years experience in designing and building wireless systems. At 4DK, Dave is responsible for technology innovation and development with specific focus on application and service interoperability, application and service integration, service and system performance. His areas of expertise include Push-to-Talk, iDen; CDMA; VoIP; HP Systems and military communications. Dave is based in Herndon, VA.

Alastair Hewitt, Director, Software Architecture

Mr Alastair Hewitt is responsible for the software architecture of SCout, 4DK’s innovative application switch and interoperability platform. He has been involved with wireless communication systems for over 17 years at both Nextel Communications and Motorola. Al’s experience covers many highly available systems; from GSM and iDEN wireless infrastructures to the decentralized network management tools needed to manage them. Experience gained on both sides of the vendor/carrier equation has helped him develop critical reliability requirements for both telecommunication systems and applications. Al is based in Boston, MA.

Andrea Tong, Chief Marketing Officer

Andrea has 20+ years experience in branding, marketing, advertising and design within the B2B and B2C sectors. Prior to joining 4DK, Andrea was co-founder and Creative Director of London-based advertising and design agency, Active Ingredient Design Ltd. At 4DK, she splits her time between marcom duties and hands-on design. She is highly regarded for her ability to present complex technology solutions to a wide range of audiences in a concise and easy to understand way. More recently, Andrea has taken the lead on product development, including designing the UI and UX guidelines for all new 4DK mobile applications. Andrea is currently based in San Francisco, CA.
